Dear Dean Hazeltine,

First, Happy Birthday to you! I hope that this birthday finds you happy and healthy.

Second, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for being such a wonderful teacher and faculty advisor. Although it's been 25 years since I graduated from Brown, I still remember quite clearly your warmth and compassion for your students. Not only did you provide my first insights into the business world, you also set the standard for excellent teaching and mentorship. I always marveled at your ability to answer questions before they were asked, but I was even more amazed by the efforts you took to get to know your students on a personal basis.

You were, and still remain, a model of how a person can be successful and still maintain a sense of humor and compassion for your fellow man/woman.

All my best to you and Mary!
