Dear Dean Hazeltine,

I can still see you riding your bike around campus saying hello to everyone you pass. I am so happy to hear that you are continuing to share your knowledge and your passion for learning with the students of Brown University!

I recently talked with Jerry Gilligan about his experience as a TA in EN 90. He graduated in 1976 and played hockey for Brown. He is a very respected attorney in Minneapolis and serves as the City Attorney for the community of Edina, MN. I serve on the City Council and have become familiar with Jerry through this connection. It was only recently that we talked about our days at Brown and we had one very important shared experience: Barrett Hazeltine. We both agreed that being a TA for your class and having the chance to be around you was one of the highlights of our days at Brown.

You have touched many lives and I thank you for the time and attention you afforded me during my days at Brown. I wish you the very best on your 75th birthday.

Warmest Regards,

Scot Housh
