Dear Barrett

It's been 21 years since I walked into my first EN 9 class and was introduced to your captivating and engaging approach to teaching students about the business world. That class and others I took with you ended up having a profound impact on me later in life. I learned an ability to analyze real-world situations and developed an enjoyment for organizations, people and the creative business process. No doubt tens of thousands of students over the years had a similar experience, and had it ended there, I would have been happy to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you after many years and thanks for helping to shape my career.

On my next visit to Brown, I think you'll have to sit down and explain to me the secret of "reverse-aging." I noticed from the picture in this book (which was taken at my wedding) that I'm looking MUCH older, but you seem to be reversing in age over time. It must be the youthfulness with which you have always taught us! Looking forward to more great years ahead!
